EULAC PerMed is a project funded by the European Commission that aims to enhance collaboration between Latin America and Caribbean countries (LAC) with Europe in the field of personalized medicine.
The Summer School (SS) has a specific focus on illustrating clinical studies’ gaps and challenges under different disease perspectives: infectious and neglected diseases, oncology diseases, cardiovascular and rare diseases. It could be a chance to create Personalised Medicine research networking between EU & LAC countries.
Organized by the Italian Ministry of Health on behalf of the EULAC PerMed consortium, and in collaboration with GORGAS Institute (Panama), the “Summer School” will take place on 15th and 16th November 2022 in Panama City, and will count on highly qualified experts in the field.
EULAC PerMed will offer a participant’s grant to 20 participants, who will be evaluated and admitted on a competitive basis.

The event will be “back to back” with the 3nd EULAC PerMed Technical Workshop on “Clinical trials in Personalized Medicine”. The application to both Summer School and Technical workshop can be accepted, but the evaluation for the selection will be done separately
