“Multidisciplinary Research Projects on Personalised Medicine – Pre-/Clinical research, Big Data and ICT, Implementation and User’s Perspective”
Deadline for pre-proposal submission is: 5 March 2020 (17:00 CET)
ERA PerMed is an ERA-NET Cofund, supported by 32 partners of 23 countries and cofunded by the European Commission (EC). To align national research strategies, promote excellence, reinforce the competitiveness of European players in Personalised Medicine (PM), and enhance the European collaboration with non-EU countries, 31 funding organisations have agreed to launch the third Joint Transnational Call for research projects in PM. This represents the second of three additional calls non-cofunded by the EC. The funding organisations participating in this call particularly wish to promote innovative interdisciplinary collaboration and to encourage translational research proposals. The available budget for this call is 27 Mio € (approx.).

This represents the second of three potential additional calls not co-funded by the EC. The funding organisations participating in this call particularly wish to promote innovative interdisciplinary collaboration and to encourage translational research proposals.
The call is planned to be launched in December 2019 with a submission deadline for pre-proposals in March 2020. It is expected, that consortia invited for the full-proposal stage, will need to submit their proposal on June 15th, 2020.
The available budget for this call is 24,6 Mio€ (approx.).

2nd ICPerMed Workshop “Personalised Medicine for All Citizens and Patients within Sustainable Implementation”
The 2nd ICPerMed Workshop will be organised by the Spanish ICPerMed member National Health Institute Carlos III (ISCIII) and will take place from November 5th-6th, 2019 in Madrid.
There will be high-level plenary sessions and four working groups. The working groups will meet in parallel and discuss the following topics:

Personalised medicine: How to ensure awareness and empowerment for all citizens?

Which are the Ethical, Legal and Social Implications (ELSI) of personalised medicine research and implementation?

Transfer of research results into the market: How to optimise a safe, fast and economic process to implement personalised medicine approaches?

Personalised medicine in the health system: How to ensure sustainability and an effective collaboration between all health care players as well as with prevention services?
Back to back with this event it will takes place:
– the Cluster event on Personalised Medicine with ITN funded projects, organised by the REA/EC, on November 6th-7th.
– the 1st EULAC PerMed Summer School, organised by the Italian Ministry of Health, on November 7th-8th.
